There’s only one “Sunday at the Point” left in the season, but it’s the place to be, especially since Whistler Village has become the place to be for tens of thousands of visitors on summer weekends. The Point is quiet, simple, and relaxed. I’ve spent many afternoons there with my writing book and pen, on the dock and on rainy days, curled up on a couch in the lodge. Kind of makes me think I should keep it the locals’ secret, but here goes.

The Point Artist-Run Centre offers a free weekly Arts Open House at the heritage lodge on the shore of Alta Lake. Live music on the back porch, Bocce & Brunch at the Cypress Point Café, Fringe Activity Art Show, and great views from the lake! Rain or shine.
