Ziplines and treetop bridges strung between Whistler and Blackcomb, starting in the Village
Ziptrek was Whistler's first zipline company and it still has the most convenient location: the tours start in the Village and run through the old-growth forest of the Fitzsimmons Valley, the gap between Whistler and Blackcomb that the Peak 2 Peak Gondola crosses overhead. Lines run from tree to tree above the creek, linked by suspension bridges and boardwalks, with guides who talk about the forest as much as the ride.
There are four zipline tours plus a bridges-only TreeTrek. The Bear is the original and the family favourite; the Eagle adds a 2,400-foot line with a 30-storey descent; the Mammoth combines ten lines into a half-day; and the Sasquatch is a single two-kilometre line that Ziptrek bills as the longest in Canada and the USA.
Choose your tour
The Bear Tour is four ziplines and four treetop bridges over two to two and a half hours, with the longest line at 1,100 feet. It departs from the Blackcomb base and is the right first tour for a family: minimum age six, minimum weight 65 pounds, and lighter children can ride tandem with a guide.
The Eagle Tour is five lines and four bridges over two and a half to three hours, reached by gondola from Olympic Station on Whistler Mountain, and its 2,400-foot line is the one people talk about afterwards. The Mammoth stacks ten lines into four and a half hours for anyone who wants the full day. The Sasquatch is different again: one line, more than two kilometres, ninety seconds or more in the air, minimum age ten.

Bear Tour

Reached by gondola from Olympic Station and built around a 2,400-foot line with a 30-storey descent. The tour for anyone who found the Bear a little tame.
The Sasquatch
One line, more than two kilometres long, crossing the whole valley from Blackcomb to Whistler. Ninety seconds in the air and speeds to match. Departs from the Village.
Mammoth Tour
Ten lines and the bridges in a single half-day, combining the best of the Bear and Eagle routes for people who do not want to choose.
